The Christ Candle | Cathedral Candle

Candlelight has long accompanied Christian prayer, a living sign of Christ the Light of the World and of the prayers we offer before Him.

From Cathedral Candle, this The Christ Candle delivers a steady, reverent flame for liturgy, devotion, and prayer. It is especially fitting for Advent.

Chiarelli’s Church Supply is pleased to offer this candle to parishes, chapels, sacristans, and altar guilds.

"For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them."

This powerful promise is the foundation behind the Christ Candle. Lighting one of these central pillars is a simple but beautiful way to acknowledge that Jesus is in the room with you. While most people immediately recognize this candle as the glowing centerpiece of an Advent wreath on Christmas Eve, its purpose extends far beyond the holiday season.

Many parishes and families burn these candles during prayer groups, parish council meetings, and scripture study sessions. It serves as a quiet, steady reminder of exactly who you are gathering for.

Because every church, chapel, and home has a unique architectural style, Chiarelli’s Church Supply offers a wide variety of Christ Candle designs to match your space.

• Investiture: Built for those who appreciate rich, classic ornamentation. This candle features a traditional cross in warm red and orange tones, anchored by a highly detailed design banding the bottom edge.
• Radiance: A fresh, contemporary option. The Radiance displays a clean, stylistic cross crafted in a striking palette of blue, gold, and white.
• Anno Domini: Understated and elegant. This design steps away from large centerpieces, relying instead on a simple gold and silver band accented by a distinct red seal.
• Holy Trinity: Bold and ancient. This design prominently features a large, pale gold Chi-Rho symbol flanked by traditional Alpha and Omega lettering.
• St. Francis: Deeply reverent and traditional. This candle showcases a green and brown cross featuring a detailed depiction of Jesus crucified. It is finished with a matching gold and green band at the base.
• White Ceremonial Pillar: Pure simplicity. A completely plain white pillar with zero adornments, bands, or colors, allowing the flame itself to be the sole focus of your devotion.

Bring a tangible sense of the sacred into your next gathering, meeting, or seasonal display with the Christ Candle design ideal for your space. Have questions about sizing or bulk orders? Reach out to the Chiarelli's team today—we're always happy to help.
