Lectionary - Sunday Mass (Pulpit)

Sunday Mass Lectionary - Pulpit Edition

The ambo of a parish church is the primary table of God’s Word. While smaller, portable volumes are ideal for intimate oratories, the main sanctuary ambo requires a magnificent volume designed for proclamation before the entire assembly. The Catholic Book Publishing pulpit lectionary for Sunday Mass offers celebrants and lectors an imposing, master-crafted volume bound in genuine leather and engineered specifically for large-scale parish worship.

Chiarelli’s Church Supply is honored to provide this official, approved English translation of the liturgical Lectionary for the dioceses of the United States (in official liturgical use since the First Sunday of Advent, November 29, 1998).

This pulpit lectionary combines all Sunday readings, Responsorial Psalms, and Gospel passages for the complete three-year cycle, along with major solemnities and feast days, into one book. The layout is arranged in distinct pastoral sense lines to improve readability and assist lectors and clergy in delivering a powerful proclamation of the Word.

Clear, bold 14-point typography (substantially larger than standard chapel editions) also ensures effortless legibility from standing height at the ambo without straining under diverse sanctuary lighting. This pulpit lectionary also utilizes two-color printing: deep black type for the sacred readings paired with rich liturgical red rubrics, cues, and headers.

Crafted for parishes seeking the finest physical presentation for the proclamation of Scripture, this pulpit volume is made from durable, high-quality materials and bookbinding processes that make it suitable for regular use at the pulpit.

• Flexible Red Leather Binding: Bound in a supple, rich red genuine leather cover stamped with reverent gold foil liturgical designs
• Gilt-Edged Pages: Features brilliant gold page edges that protect the paper against dust and moisture while adding a regal, transcendent glow
• Sacred Art: Enhanced with full-color liturgical artwork and detailed line illustrations that elevate the volume into a work of sacred art
• Ribbon Markers: Outfitted with robust place-marking ribbons to permit sacristans and lectors to pre-mark the First Reading, Responsorial Psalm, Second Reading, and Gospel

Elevate your parish’s ambo with a sacred volume worthy of Christ's Holy Gospel. The Catholic Book Publishing pulpit lectionary combines grand visual dignity, premium genuine leather craftsmanship, and maximum legibility to ensure the Word of God is proclaimed with power and reverent grace.
