Molina - Twelve Apostles Chalice | AS-197

Twelve Apostles Chalice from Molina

The celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass demands sacred vessels that reflect theological depth, enduring beauty, and reverence for the Eucharistic mysteries. Handcrafted in Spain by the master silversmiths at Molina, Model AS-197 is a Romanesque apostles' chalice that draws its artistic inspiration from medieval European church architecture.

Featuring rich sculptural relief around the cup and base, this sacred vessel provides an inspiring centerpiece for ordination jubilees, parish feast days, and solemn liturgies. On it, you will find the 12 apostles engraved with stunning detail, along with their names.

This stunning Apostles chalice unites early Christian symbolism with fine Spanish silversmithing. Chiarelli’s Church Supply is pleased to offer this handcrafted masterwork to clergy, sacristans, and parish communities seeking heirloom-quality metalware!

• Twelve Apostles Relief: The cup is sculpted with detailed figures of the Twelve Apostles, each identified by their Latin names engraved around the upper rim.

• Evangelist Symbols on the Base: The sweeping base features the traditional four tetramorph symbols of the Evangelists—the winged man (Matthew), the winged lion (Mark), the winged ox (Luke), and the eagle (John).

• Sanctuary Scale Proportions: Stands 7 inches in overall height with a 4-15/16" cup diameter, offering a generous 14 oz. liquid capacity.

• Finish and Metal Fabrications: Finished in high-luster silver plate with a 24k gold-lined interior cup, with options to order in silver-plated brass, inner cup sterling silver, or all solid sterling silver.
